/MouseTracks/: The List of Marketing Lists: Listserv

The Listserv mailing list software understands the commands in the following list. Use your regular email software to send the command to the Listserv address for the list you are interested in. In what follows, text in italics needs to be replaced with specific information. For full information on all commands, use the help command as described below.

get listserv refcard

subscribe list your-name - Subscribe to list.

signoff list - Unsubscribe from list.

set list repro - See your own postings to list.

set list digests - Receive email from list in digest form.

set list mail - Receive email from list in non-digest form.

index list - Retrieve a directory of files for list.

get file-name - Retrieve file-name from the server. Files names have two parts. query list - Query your subscription options for list.

review list - Find out who is subscribed to list.

list global/string - Search for Listserv lists all over the Internet which pertain to string.
